After 15 very intensive sessions, the International Executive Program of IE Law School Executive Education entirely focused on European competition and antitrust came to an end.

Starting on Wednesday the 23rd of May, a wide range of different debates based on practical, specific and the essential aspects of law competition, took place.

All this was possible firstly because of the participants’ profile. The fact of having lawyers coming from the most important international law firms and law departments from renowned international companies, gave path to the development of a series of interesting debates, with very different points of view.

The group was guided by a very highly qualified faculty (lawyers and economists), with many years of experience in this area.

The participants had the privilege, for the very first time, of having lectures held by Prof. Christoforou Theofanis, the principal director of Legal Services at the European Union Commission in charge of competition law and merger control gave three very interesting sessions. At the end of them he answered all the questions posted by participants and joined the group for lunch.
