On Wednesday 8 February, IE Law School Executive Education launched the 2nd intake of its most international course, a program unique in Europe: the Lawyers’ Management Program (LMP).

Following a trend begun last year, the participants of this year’s LMP are very international and diverse, with professionals coming from major law firms and national/international companies. Diversity is also found amongst the groups’ nationalities, including people from the USA, South America, Africa and Europe.

Once again we the program consists of an outstanding faculty composed not only of IE but also Oxford and Georgetown professors. In class activity is also supported by international professionals, coming from both the legal and entrepreneurial worlds: Olga Garcia, head of Legal, Santander; Joaquin Calderon, Director, Barclays Capital; Rosemary Martin, Group General Counsel & Company Secretary, Vodafone Group Plc; Lucy Dillon, Director of Knowledge Management, Berwin Leighton Paisner; Sally Woodward, Owner, Sherwood PSF Consulting.

After 4 days of class in Madrid, the group began the second online module on February 13th. The 6 weeks of Videoconferences and Discussion Boards will prepare the 14 candidates for the last module to be held in London, with another 4 days of class at the College of Law.
