OPENING DINNER FOR THE EXECUTIVE LLM PROGRAM

Escrito el 11 octubre 2011 por Law School en IE Law School News

The sixth annual opening dinner for the Executive LLM Program offered by IE Law School and Northwestern University School of Law was held at the Real Café Bernabeu on September 16, 2011.  The incoming Class of 2012 was joined by alumni from past editions of the Executive LLM, as well as faculty and members of the program management staff. In attendance from Northwestern were Associate Dean James B. Speta and Executive Director Janet Garesché.

Since its inception in 2006, the Executive LLM Program has become Europe’s leading LLM program for working lawyers. While the program is intended for practicing lawyers with at least three years of professional experience, the actual class profile nearly triples this figure, with an average of almost nine years of experience. With some 100 graduates of the Executive LLM Program to date, alumni report success in internal promotions within their present firms and companies, as well as in lateral career moves to new positions.

The Class of 2012 is the most diverse Executive LLM Program cohort to date, with 14 different nationalities represented among the student body. We are pleased this year to welcome our first Executive LLM participants from Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Chile and India.
